Fingerpaint

This morning the rain thwarted my grocery shopping plans, and the two little people didn't want to play with any of their toys, so I decided it would be a good time for Theodore to try fingerpaint! 

It started off innocently enough, with minimal mess . . .

Then I gave them some pipe cleaners and medium size pom poms to make different designs on the paper. Still not too much of a mess . . . 

But then Buttercup asked if they could drive some of Theodore's trucks in the paint. They each picked out a truck, and zoomed them around on the paper. And that's when it started getting really messy! 

And . . . this was the end of it, when Theodore decided to taste some of the paint. Lots of fun! :-)
