Birthday Fun!

It's almost hard to believe, but Buttercup turned 1 on Saturday! She is such a big girl. We celebrated with a small party at home (just the 4 of us, plus Aunt Anna). She didn't like her birthday hat or cake, but she liked her gifts and especially liked the special version of Happy Birthday that Oliver sang to her (sadly, I didn't get it on video!).

Make sure you scroll all the way to the bottom of this post to see the video of Buttercup and her birthday cake.

Oliver helped me decorate the cupcakes.

Earlier in the week, Buttercup and Oliver received their birthday gifts from Grandma and Grandpa. Both kids were really excited to get their presents! They also had fun playing with the big box the gifts came in. :-)
