Moths are beautiful

Buttercup and I went outside to play yesterday afternoon, and spotted this big moth resting on one of our trees:


Isn't it beautiful? I love the intricate and amazingly realistic leaf-like pattern on its wings.


It's also really neat how "furry" and soft its wings look.


I'm so glad that we were able to see this moth in our yard yesterday. I love how God makes so many beautiful things for us to enjoy!
