Busy, busy!

We have been busy at our house! A couple of weekends ago, I ran a race and Oliver and Dennis accompanied me while Aunt Anna babysat Buttercup for us. We had a really good time at the race site, and Oliver loved seeing all of the runners! After I finished stretching (post-race), he was all excited about running his own race, and took off running down the trail. He probably ended up running about a mile! Another highlight from the race was that Oliver and I got to take our picture with an Elvis impersonator!

Buttercup is getting to be such a big girl. She turned 7 months old on Sunday! I can't believe she's getting so big so fast. Even though it will be a while before she and Oliver can really play together, they're able to interact more and more every day. Oliver was so happy and proud on the day that Buttercup was able to sit in the front of the grocery basket next to him!

One day, Anna bought some crafts for Oliver to make, and she also bought these letters to paint for Oliver! They look so cute in his room.

Last week, Grammy spent the week with us to help out with the baby while I focused on potty training Oliver. And it was a great success! He picked it up so quickly. We are all so proud of him!
