Exploring at the "waterfall" park

One of our favorite places to explore is what Oliver calls the "waterfall" park. It rained a lot this week, so we visited the park to look at the waterfall and see how high the creek was.




























We did the usual: exploring, looking for bears in the "forest", picking flowers, throwing rocks and fishing in the creek, and floating stick-boats downstream.




























After we explored, we headed over to the lake to play. Oliver "swam" in the deeper part of the water while Buttercup mainly stayed on the shore to splash and play in the sand.




























I guess I shouldn't be surprised that Oliver ended up covered in mud, should I? :-)
