You'll need:
a clear container with a tightly-fitting lid (I used baby food jars)
Elmer's glue or glitter glue
hot water
glitter
Add a little bit of hot water to the jar, and dissolve about 1 tbsp of glue in it.
(Most of the instructions say to use glitter glue for this step, but it turned out that all of my glitter glue tubes were either empty or the glue was too dry to use. So we used Elmer's glue instead.)
Then add food coloring and as much glitter as you want. Both of my kiddos loooved this step. :-)
(Oliver's is blue, Buttercup's is green.)
Screw the lid on tightly (I guess we should have glued them on, but oh well), give it a good swirl, and watch the glitter float around! Mesmerizing.
