Turns out that snorkeling in the bathtub isn't as much fun as it seemed at first. But thankfully we'll have some summer weather soon, and he'll get to try his snorkel in a real swimming pool. :-)

Oliver the Scuba Diver
In case I haven't mentioned it lately, Oliver is really into sharks. And whales. And crabs (especially hermit crabs). And pretty much anything that lives or swims in the deep blue sea. He currently wants to be a scuba diver when he grows up. So you can imagine that he was pretty excited about the mask and snorkel that I bought for him at the store today! His face totally lit up when he saw it, and he couldn't wait to test it out.

Turns out that snorkeling in the bathtub isn't as much fun as it seemed at first. But thankfully we'll have some summer weather soon, and he'll get to try his snorkel in a real swimming pool. :-)

I guess it's hard to really snorkel when your body completely fills up the bathtub!! So very cute!
ReplyDeleteYep, he didn't have much room to maneuver, plus he was a little afraid of putting his face underwater. I asked if he would like to try in Grammy's big tub, and he said, "Hmm, no thanks. Maybe just in the swimming pool next time." :-)
